Our classes provide varying levels and stages designed to accommodate each child’s individual needs. A child may start swim lessons as soon as they are able to sit up without support.

Learning to swim is hard work, as well as fun, and requires much effort. How much a child enjoys this work and how rapidly they progress depends greatly on the attitude of the caregiver(s). It is not only rewarding but also contagious when children master goals in the swimming pool… and in life!

By working as a team with our parents and swimmers, our instructors take great pride in guiding children through the peaks and valleys of swim class. We offer lessons for baby, toddler, and kids of all ages.

My husband and I have 2 children, ages 9 and 7 that have been in Brendan Sweetman Swimmers’ program since they were infants. It has been wonderful to watch our children grow and develop into confident and exceptional swimmers throughout the years. We have peace of mind knowing our children have been taught life saving skills and proper swim techniques by the best of the best! Much love and admiration to Brendan and his remarkable teachers.

We have used Brendan Sweetman Swimmers with all three of our children. This wonderful family has dedicated their lives to teaching the life saving skill of swimming to children for decades. Water can be deadly if kids don’t learn early on to respect the water and learn basic survival skills. Every child is different and learning can be scary and tough for new swimmers. The instructors understand this and know exactly how to safely teach the children to get over their fears and become one with the water. Kids are resilient and learn quickly when put into this extremely focused environment. It’s nothing short of remarkable what these kids are able to learn in just one week. They love the kids and push them hard to learn the basic skills that could save their lives some day!

I have 3 children that have learned to swim from Sweetman Swimmers. I started them all as soon as they could walk. Thank God! On Thanksgiving day when my youngest was 2 years old she fell into a small man made pond at our relatives home. There were multiple adults around & no one saw her but my son started yelling that his sister fell in the water. My 2 yr old rolled on her back & floated to the surface of the pond. She saved herself with the skills she learned from Sweetman Swimmers. I’m so thankful I was led to send her to Brendan the summer before if not we could have lost our baby. If your child is crawling/walking then they need to be at Sweetman Swimmers. Swim lessons should be life saving first then fun. My children are all strong swimmers & have great respect for the water thanks to Sweetman Swimmers!
We ❤️ Sweetman Swimmers!

We have had an amazing experience with Brendan Sweetman Swimmers. My kids were incredibly unsafe in the water, and I was terrified for their safety. Sweetman Swimmers teaches kids to save their own life. That’s their first priority. Although it is tough for kids at first (there is sometimes crying), kids are so proud of themselves when they master the skill of survival! The teachers are firm (as they must be) but truly love their students, and truly care about their safety and well-being. I would not go to any other swim lesson program. We drive 40 minutes each way to these lessons, and they often have people from OUT OF STATE who come just for lessons. I understand why — we’re so grateful for this program.
